LSU Museum of Art Hours

The LSU Museum of Art is located on the 5th floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts in downtown Baton Rouge (100 Lafayette St.).

Fall Hours starting Monday, August 24, 2026:

LSU Museum of Art
Monday: Closed
Tuesday–Saturday: 10 AM–5 PM
Thursday: 10 AM–8 PM
Sunday: 1–5 PM
Free admission the first Sunday of every month.

LSU Football Home Games, the museum and store will close at 2 PM

Admission

Adults, 13 and older: $5
Children, 12 and under: Free
Members: Free
Students with valid ID: Free
LSU Faculty and Staff with valid ID: Free
Educators with valid ID: Free
Veterans and their families: Free with military ID

The first Sunday of every month is FREE admission.

Museums for All Admission

Valid during normal operation hours, show your EBT card and photo ID at the admissions desk and receive free admission for up to 4 individuals. Come back anytime, there’s no limit to how often you can visit through Museums for All.

Blue Star Museum

The LSU Museum of Art is a Blue Star Museum. Veterans and their families are free with military ID when they visit the museum.
