Free First Sunday: Make Your Mark! The Art of Letterpress

Dive into the world of letterpress! Explore the art of printmaking by creating your own mini poster and decorating a custom tote bag. We are partnering with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge for special musical performances. Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

Make art at the LSU Museum of Art and then walk on over to the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge for music!

Music Performances will at the Arts Council of Baton Rouge (233 St Ferdinand St, Baton Rouge, LA): Mike Esneault will talk and demonstrate, at the piano, styles of music that find their origins in South Louisiana including blues, jazz, New Orleans 2nd line, early rhythm and blues and Cajun. There will be two 20 minute sessions at 2 PM and 3 PM.
