One janitorial porter will be scheduled for events (4 hours)

LSU Museum of Art Members at the Sustainer Level and above receive a 20% discount (space fee only)
LSU Departments, Shaw Center for the Arts partners, and non-profit organizations receive a 10% discount
Combination space usage and repeat clients receive an additional discount of 5-15% depending on number of times and spaces booked for events
Catering – LSU has an approved licensed caterer list that must be used.
All events require a $2,000,000 Certificate of Liability:
A $2,000,000 Certificate of Liability must be acquired by each lessee to protect from large accidents to people, property, or major damage. A copy of insurance coverage must be submitted with the final payment for the event 10 business days before. (Note the average cost is $235)Set-up & Breakdown
Client is responsible for set-up and breakdown. Museum staff do not set-up or break down spaces. Time for set-up and breakdown is included with fees. If you would like museum staff to set-up or breakdown the space an additional fee will be added.
Deposit & Cancellation
A deposit of one-half of the invoice total is required at the time the LICENSE FOR USE OF FACILITIES AND PREMISES AGREEMENT is signed to secure your date. The remaining balance, together with a valid certificate of liability insurance, is due 10 business days prior to the event. The deposit is fully refundable if the event is canceled more than 10 business days (two weeks) before the scheduled date, but it becomes non-refundable once that deadline has passed.
Notes about the spaces:
A catering kitchen is not available. Alternative space for a cater to stage can be discussed based on the rental’s needs.
Sterno, open-flame heating elements, and helium-filled balloons are prohibited.
The freight elevator is located adjacent to our collection storage area, where food and beverages are strictly prohibited.
During daytime hours, the third floor is not a private venue; staff offices are located on this level and building personnel may need to pass through.
