Blue Dog and Friends Painting on the Lawn

The LSU Museum of Art and the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine are teaming up for an afternoon filled with creativity and community. Inspired by George Rodrigue's blue dog in our exhibition A Bayou State of Mind and Vet Med’s dedication to animal care, we invite you to paint your favorite pet, dream up a playful animal portrait, or just let your imagination run wild.

We’ll have plenty of art supplies ready for you, but feel free to bring your own if you have favorites. No experience needed. Just bring your love of animals, art, and a good time outdoors.
