Join us at the LSU Museum of Art for a gallery talk with Alabama artist Jamey Grimes as he discusses Confluence, his immersive sculptural installation that reimagines the Mississippi River flowing through Baton Rouge—upside-down and overhead. Grimes will share insights into how Confluence explores the layered tensions between humanity and nature, inviting us to reflect on our evolving relationship with this powerful and unpredictable river. This project is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Louisiana Division of the Arts.
