Jon Langford is a Welsh-born musician and visual artist best known as a founding member of the punk band The Mekons and the alternative country collective The Waco Brothers. A pioneer in merging art and music, Langford’s visual work is featured—alongside Jim Sherraden and the iconic Nashville-based Hatch Show Print—in the LSU Museum of Art's current exhibition Carved & Crafted: The Art of Letterpress.

Friday, September 12! Jon Langford  Live at Manship Theatre 

Venue: Manship Theatre's Hartley Vey Theatre (The Entrance for the Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre is on North Blvd, across from the Old State Capitol. Please do not enter through the Shaw Center.)

  • Doors open: 5:30 PM

  • Music Concert: 6–7 PM

  • The LSU Museum of Art and LSU Museum Store will be open until 8:00 p.m. for you to enjoy before or after the concert.

  • Admission is free but you must reserve tickets in order to attend using the button below.
