The LSU Museum of Art depends on the contributions of its patrons. There are many ways that you can support exhibitions, programs and daily operations. Please consider the following options. 

Financial Donations:

You can make a gift to the LSU Museum of Art online through the LSU Foundation. Gifts can be made in a variety of forms including outright gifts of cash, stocks, and real estate, or through planned giving options. You can also make memorial or honorary gifts to the museum in someone’s name.

You can also mail a donation check directly to the LSU Museum of Art at 100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge, LA, 70801. Please make the check payable to the LSU Foundation.

Donations of Art:

All works of art in the LSU Museum of Art’s collection have been donated directly or purchased with donated funds. We are always happy to talk with private donors and collectors about the gift of museum-quality works of art.  Donors may give outright gifts of art or make monetary contributions to an acquisition fund.

Most gifts of art qualify for an income tax deduction based on their fair market value on the date of the gift.  If you leave a work of art to the museum upon your death, your executor may deduct the value of the artwork from your taxable estate.
