Endowment Society Membership Leverage a Bright Future

Membership at the Endowment Society level ensures the long-term operational excellence of the LSU Museum of Art.

Like most museums across the country, and, now across the globe, the museum's annual budget increasingly relies on private funding. Private investment and sound investment strategies will ensure that this remarkable museum on the Mississippi advances with the same vim and vigor with which it was created. Interest from the endowment means that one day the museum can achieve financial independence for operations, with the ability to recruit the most creative professionals in the field, to mount the highest quality exhibitions, to design and broadcast educations programs via digital media......to become a national model of innovative leadership.

Endowment gifts of $100 or more are placed in and managed by the LSU Foundation. Endowment accounts are typically generating 4% annually, making it an optimum way to leverage your commitment to the LSU Museum of Art.

We are very grateful to our endowment society members and hope we prove it to them on a daily basis by the museum's impact on the cultural, educational and economic vitality of our community. Members in the Endowment Society receive specially guided tours of exhibitions, recognition on the museum donor wall, festive openings, discounts at the Museum Store and other venues.
