The LSU Museum of Art in the Shaw Center for the Arts offers a distinctive venue for your next event. With spaces amenable to board meetings, dinners, and cocktail parties, the LSU MOA would like to help you plan your perfect event. Explore the different spaces available at the museum, each with a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. Magnificent spaces are available after normal business hours for guided tours, private evening events, and corporate galas, including receptions, meetings and seated dinners. LSU Museum of Art, Paula Garvey Manship Floor, 5th Level

Offering the premier exhibition space in our community, the astounding Paula Garvey Manship fifth floor is located in the cantilever section of the new Shaw Center for the Arts. Home of the LSU Museum of Art's permanent collection, displayed in 14 different galleries with soaring 16-foot ceilings and stunningly beautiful lighting, the galleries compose the largest contiguous area of the center. Upon entering the lobby, visitors will be greeted with a spectacular view of the Mississippi River. The museum has limitations on food and drink in the galleries. LSU Museum of Art Capacity: 400 people, Size: 13,000 sq. ft.

The Charles Phelps Manship, Jr. Floor, 3rd Level

Located on the third level of the Auto Hotel, The Charles Phelps Manship, Jr. Floor offers a 2,000 square foot gallery (The Bert and Sue Turner Gallery) with sweeping views of Lafayette Park and the Mississippi River. The gallery accommodates approximately 150 people. The beautiful Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Board Room overlooking the Mississippi River adjoins the gallery and can seat up to 50 people.

The Irene W. Pennington Rooftop Terrace and Sculpture Garden, 6th Level

The sixth level features the Irene W. Pennington Rooftop Terrace and Sculpture Garden. This beautiful outdoor area provides an interesting space for corporate events and social occasions and can accommodate spectacular outdoor dining. The rooftop terrace can accommodate up to 300 people.
