The LSU Museum of Art (LSU MOA) exhibition program is diverse and creates dynamic associations between historical and contemporary visual culture by interpreting the fine and decorative arts of many regions, cultures, and periods.

Exhibitions of the permanent collection and recent acquisitions are always featured. Selections from the museum's rich holdings of over 3500 regional and international fine and decorative arts objects are now showcased .

Rotating regional, national, and international special exhibitions, organized by LSU MOA and colleague institutions, are regularly presented. These complement the permanent collection, offering university and Baton Rouge audiences multiple learning and art appreciation experiences.
